But what about the website…. what pages are included?

Roughly 10-12 website pages can be created or refreshed including:

• Homepage

• About

• Services

• Contact

• Blog

• Testimonials

• Error 404

• Link In Bio

• Legal Policies (Cookies, Privacy, Terms of Use)

You will also get:

• Basic search engine optimisation across the whole site.

• Squarespace hosting or domain fees

• Platform costs, font license or plug in fees or any other additional third-party tools.

• Copywriting. If specific sections of text aren’t provided I will place guiding text for you to complete after site handover.

• This listing is for the deposit only. A further 2 payments are required as outlined above, under the Investment Heading.

• This service requires admin permissions to your site.

• Email support is provided for 2 weeks after custom website is handed over.

• All information, copy, images, admin permissions must be received before project start date.

• An official scope of works (contract) with explicit instruction will be agreed upon and signed before project can commence.

• Prompt communication is key to meeting the deadlines for this project.

• The quality of information submitted prior to the project start date has a direct correlation to the quality of work I can design for you.

2 weeks before: BOOK A DATE

This must be at least 2 weeks prior to the start of your project date.

You must be able to complete and send through all necessary information before your project date so allow yourself enough time to do so.

WEEK 1

• Friday: Project starts.

  We jump on Zoom to ensure we’re on the same page with all submitted content and ask any necessary questions.

• Monday: Draft Home page emailed for review.

• Wednesday: Website presentation sent through for feedback.

• Wednesday - Thursday: Feedback and refinement stage.

WEEK 2

• Friday: Implement feedback changes.

• 2nd payment instalment due.

  Wednesday: Final review for major changes only.

On Completion:

• Friday: Final zoom so we can launch the site and teach you how to make your own edits.

• Final payment instalment due. Once payment is made, admin permission handed over.

Support:

2 weeks of email support starts the Monday after project ends.

Payments are required over 3 instalments.

• 33% ($999*) is due at time of booking to hold your place in my calendar.

• 33% ($1000*) is due by the end of the first week.

• 33% ($1000*) by the last day of the project.

*Unless additional pages are added and the cost changes.

IMPORTANT

Access to your site will not be provided until all payments have been received.

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars with tax (GST) included.

Before

Gather, complete and submit as early as you can before your start date. The quality of the work you submit will allow me to do a better job (for you) - I can only work with what you give me!

During

Put your feet up and relax - you made a great decision and now it’s working for you 😜

But also, be available for our scheduled catch ups or on email to answer any quick questions or provide feedback so I can keep the project moving.

I recommend doing that through Squarespace (which is super simple to do - promise) and Squarespace Support are ready to help if needed.

If you already have a domain - still easy enough to do.

If you get stuck, I can help you with that.

Nope.

My fees are fixed.

What you see on this page is what you will pay (taxes are included - bless Australia).

If you need additional work on your website done down the track, then you can hire me for a day here.

Note

There are ongoing fees associated with your Squarespace plan and hosting domain but that is between you and them - not me.

From me? Only if you need the following….

• Images for your website sourced and set up for search engine optimisation.

• Lead magnets designed and set up.

• Brand Style guide - font pairings, colour palette etc.

I normally charge $1299 as part of my Designer For A Day service but as a VIP Custom Client you would get these individual tasks reduced to $499 each. These can be added on when you click through to book your website.

NOTE

It’s pretty hard to design a website if you can’t provide your brand collateral, copy, keywords etc. So whether it is created through me or someone else, please ensure you can provide this prior to your project start date.

Some additional costs you need to consider may include:

• brand photography i.e. headshots, product photos etc.

• branded email address.

• SEO tool like SEOSpace.

• Online scheduling tool for service based businesses like Acuity (through Squarespace).

• Using a CRM to manage clients for service based businesses like Dubsado.

• Using an email marketing service like Kit, FloDesk etc.

• Setting up membership area, course, email campaigns etc within Squarespace.

• Upgrading plans within Squarespace.

• Paying for professional legalese copywright for your policies like The Creative Law Shop or Termageddon.

It’s a great point and one worth unpacking…. for several reasons.

You absolutely can just DIY!

Squarespace is designed so simply so that anyone can learn to piece together a website.

Will it work and be functional? Yep.

——Probably.

Will it look good? Could do.

But it also maybe probably won’t.

I studied design for a reason. There’s a knack to it. There’s principles to consider.

I’ve also put in the time over yeeeears learning tips and tricks of the platform. Things that took me hours to work out and perfect.

If your business is quiet and you have all the time in the world to work it out for yourself or watch numerous youtube videos or read countless blog posts - then yes… go and DIY and make a seriously stunning, functional, high converting website! And then come let me know so I celebrate with you because I get how much work goes into it!

Admin Rights

Once your final payment has been received, admin permissions will be handed over to you on Squarespace.

Files

I will also send over files and access to Canva documents (where necessary) so you can download them or continue to edit as needed.

Support

You will have access to 2 weeks of email support should you have any questions. After that if you get stuck on design tasks or maintaining your website you have 3 options:

1. Ask Squarespace Support (they are awesome)

2. Google your query or search youtube

3. Book me in for a Designer For A Day service to work my way through your tasks.

Learning new technology, all the different platforms for your business and trying to keep your head above water is…a lot.

But hear me when I write this - I’ve got you!

As part of this project I go through the ins and outs of using Squarespace so that you feel confident to make any adjustments yourself. I also create videos on social media and youtube explaining different tips and tricks.

If you still don’t feel confident or simply don’t have the time to maintain your website, you can hire me every now and then with a list of tasks as part of my Designer For A Day service.

Money = commitment.

Firstly it secures a spot in my calendar and helps me prepare. Preparation takes time. My time is worth something.

It shows that your’re dedicated and ready to show up for this process.

I value my time, deeply.

I love spending time with my fam bam so if I have time set aside for work, I don’t want to be flaked on or not taken seriously.

Likewise, by being paid for that time set aside, you best believe I will respect, treasure and dedicate my very best to your business during your project.

Unfortunately some clients think it is okay for designers to do the work, and then change their mind on what they want and leave the designer high and dry for all their time. So my payment plan is a safeguard ensuring that …you know… I can put dinner on the table for my kids.

You betcha! We’re flexible, right?

Meetings might get a little tricky, but we will work it out or just lean more on written communication or videos ☺️
